Biography
Bernth was born on the 14h of August 1991 in Wiener Neustadt, Lower Austria. He started playing guitar at the age of 13, after the first private lessons he signed up at a local music school to start his career.
After finishing school he started touring with extreme metal bands like Belphegor, playing concerts and festivals in USA, Canada, South America and all over Europe. After a couple of years of only playing metal, he decided to broaden his horizon and to study Jazz guitar and instrumental pedagogics at the Vienna Music Institute. Bernth finished both studies with honors after 4 busy years.
In his last years at the Vienna Music Institute, Bernth started working with the Austrian band Seiler und Speer. They put out two #1 records in Austria, four top 10 hits and played sold out concerts like the legendary Donauinselfest. Here they performed in front of over 111000 people.
Today, Bernth is still touring with Seiler und Speer and works as a session & studio guitar player for a lot of different projects. He received 2 gold awards for composing and performing the soundtrack for the successful series ‘Horvathslos’. His first online guitar course ’10 Steps to Modern Shredding’ will be released in 2018 – a revolutionary program, that teaches all his secrets about his signature techniques in 10 weeks.
Bernth is endorsed by Ibanez guitars, Orange amplification, Hesu cabs, KHDK pedals and Elixir strings.
